Crestron Products Now Available Through TIPS Program

Rockleigh, NJ – January 24, 2018 – Crestron, a global leader in enterprise control and automation technology, announced today it has been awarded a three-year vendor contract on the national TIPS – Audio Visual Equipment, Supplies and Services contract, providing an easier and more direct route for governmental and educational customers to purchase Crestron products.  
 
An acronym for The Interlocal Purchasing System, TIPS is a national purchasing cooperative that provides a proven, streamlined process that eliminates procurement related stress for State & Local Government and Education (SLED) agencies and institutions. This gives SLED agencies that participate in TIPS an easy method to purchase Crestron through select authorized dealers listed as Crestron vendors on the contract. TIPS is housed and managed by the Region 8 Education Service Center located in Pittsburg, Texas.
 
“This is a big win for our participating authorized dealers and our governmental and educational customers who prefer this much easier and direct route to purchasing our products. We urge them to take advantage of the program right away,” said Matthew Silverman, Director of Education Programs at Crestron.
