The CLW‑DIMUEX‑P is a Cameo® wireless in-wall universal phase dimmer that controls the following load types: LED, incandescent, magnetic low voltage, and electronic low voltage. Along with the entire line of Cameo products, it can be configured with various button layouts and designer colors, making the CLW‑DIMEX‑P more versatile and affordable than previous generations of in-wall dimmers. Its streamlined design matches the entire line of Cameo dimmers, switches and keypads, making it a great addition to new or retrofit installations. In addition, infiNET EX® wireless communication technology brings proven reliability to the CLW‑DIMUEX‑P.

Remote Dimmer
The CLW‑DIMUEX‑P supports lighting load control from more than one location. Easily replace existing dimmers and switches wired in a traditional 3 or 4-way circuit with load controls from every location, or design new projects to accommodate remote dimmers. The CLW-SLVU-P (sold separately) remote dimmer connects to the traveler wire and dims the load attached to the CLW‑DIMUEX‑P.

Field-Replaceable Button Caps
The preinstalled rocker button cap (CLW-BTN-RKR) on the CLW‑DIMUEX‑P is field-replaceable with the included small (CLW-BTN-SM) and large (CLW-BTN-LG) button caps, allowing for engravable multi-button configurations.

Universal Phase Dimming
The CLW‑DIMUEX‑P features auto-load detection to automatically select the appropriate dimming method for the attached load. Auto-load detection allows for broad load type compatibility, even if future changes are made to the load.

Custom Programmable Keypad
Because the CLW‑DIMUEX‑P is attached to the Crestron network, it also functions as a keypad, sending commands to trigger whole-room scenes or distributed audio functions. Supporting up to four buttons, the in-wall dimmer serves as a great user control interface in any Crestron system. Its single-gang form factor maximizes control capability in a small space while increasing the opportunity for Crestron control in every room.

infiNET EX® Wireless Communications
infiNET EX wireless technology provides two way RF communications throughout a residential or commercial structure without the need for physical control wiring. Each infiNET EX device acts as an expander by sending command signals to other infiNET EX devices in range (approximately 150 ft (46 m) indoors) to ensure reliability and stability.

The device communicates with a control system via a Crestron Wireless Gateway (sold separately). Up to 100 infiNET EX devices may coexist on a wireless network.

Note: Any infiNET EX device that provides expander functionality will effectively extend the range of the wireless network beyond the initial range of the gateway. Battery-powered infiNET EX devices do not provide expander functionality. A dedicated infiNET EX Wireless Expander is also available (CLW-EXPEX, sold separately).

Streamlined Installation
The CLW‑DIMUEX‑P features screw-clamp connectors for simplified wiring, reducing installation time and material costs. The Cameo line can be installed in standard gang boxes making them the perfect choice for both new and retrofit projects.

Multigang Expansion
Devices can be installed side-by-side in a multigang electrical box with a compatible decorator faceplate (FP-G Series, sold separately).
